Epson's Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) allows for smooth gradation by precisely controlling the droplet volume.

The printer supports ink ejection in up to four colors with a high resolution of 600 dpi per color. To meet diverse customer needs, the I1600 model has been added to the lineup alongside the i3200.
