Q: Special Industry Printer

Industrial inkjet printers are used around the world for printing batch codes, best-before-dates, barcodes and other pieces of information on products and packaging. These marking systems have become a central part of manufacturing.

Industrial printing refers to ink imprinted onto a product as part of a manufacturing process. Print adds significant value, but its contribution is secondary to the innate value of the product itself.

The main distinct difference between the two printers is the size. For instance, industrial printers are larger, hence why they are predominantly used in manufacturing and warehouse environments.

The production capacity of industrial 3D printers is usually greater than that of desktop 3D printers. Industrial 3D printers have larger printing platforms, which means that they can print larger parts at a time, and can also print more models at the same time.

For printer mechanical hardware, the using period will be life long.

For consumables just need periodical maintenance, then the using life will be longer as factory designed, and for software and technology, it depends on the industry technology development.

A new copier or printer (or combination of both) is a big investment. Before you make a decision, you want to make sure your current machine is absolutely in need of replacement. Manufacturers usually give a blanket statement that their printers should last around seven years.
